Assessments
There are many forms of Haida Art including painting, carving, weaving and mask making. 
1. Research some Haida images and try making a mask in that style.
2. Read one of the Haida legends and illustrate it in the style of the Haida people.
3. Draw and annotate a Haida Mask and explain it's significance.

Research Haidi art, create a fact file about this type of art.
Watch video clips on mask making, brainstorm ideas for your sculpture.
Experiment  by making machete masks using different materials.
Research into the Haida legends, make notes on your findings.
